Welcome! It's a pleasure to meet you!
My name is Krista Kirkpatrick-Hatch (she/her), and I am a postpartum doula, artist, and disability and mental health professional based in Calgary, AB.
A growing family can be such an exciting time for many parents. There is so much to do, plan for, look forward to, soak in... and as exciting as this time can be, it can also be overwhelming at time. Postpartum doulas, like myself, help support and educate parents in the postpartum period so that they can feel confident in their parenting journey. As mentioned above, I am also an artist. I offer support in the form of art life coaching and tangible support items, such as belly casting and postpartum affirmation cards that I designed myself! It would be my honour to celebrate the stage of life that you're at with these unique offerings. Please check out the Services page or Shop for more information. I am passionate about helping and supporting people from all walks of life. I am excited to support you in the ways that you need! I am looking forward to meeting you! - Krista |
In-Person or Virtual SupportI offer my postpartum support services both in-person locally and virtually all over the world, depending on your family's needs and preferences.

Krista is an absolute gem! As a first time mom, her help was truly appreciated and I couldn’t have done it without her! She taught me how to baby wear, how to latch my baby properly, she also provided me with a ton of resources for me and baby, she did my groceries, dishes, helped me with food prep, tidied my house, sanitized my pump parts and baby’s bottles and so much more! I cannot explain how much she helped (and continues to help) me. ...Krista would also put the baby to sleep and take care of her while I sleep or cook or have dinner with my husband. Krista has seen my baby since she was one day old and continues to see her grow. Krista is part of our little family.
I highly recommend working with Krista! She is such a gentle and sweet soul. She’s super nice, understanding and always ready to help. We love Krista and we look forward to continue working with her!
